My Coquette Bass

Hi Bobby,

I just wanted to share some notes on the bass.

First, it is a looker, even a jaw-dropper.  I am awed by how perfect the workmanship is, and the finish is flawless and worth the extra $ for the gloss lacquer.

I got my first chance to play through a real bass amp this last week, and I got some really nice sounds out.  Super playablility, and lots of available tone shaping with the switching and tone controls.

But the sustain . . . my friends and I have never heard anything like it.  If I just play a note, or an overtone . . .  the decay is over 20 seconds.  And I can feel the whole body ringing when I play it.
